Abir Hamdar

Abir Hamdar recently completed a PhD at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She has published critical articles and short stories on gender, illness/disability, exile, and jihad in the following books and journals: Masculinity in Modern Middle Eastern Literature and Film, The Representation of Space in Modern Levantine Literature, Yearbook of English Studies, Al-Raida, MovingWorlds: Journal of Transcultural Writings. Her play The Silicon Bomb was staged at the Lebanese American University.
